Center Home for Hispanic Elderly is very concerned about its residents and employees with regards to Covid-19. Center Home is taking precautionary measures and have implemented Protocols to ensure their safety as best as possible. Experienced Staff are constantly monitoring IDPH, CMS, CDC and the local health department for updates and are in regular contact with these agencies. Unfortunately, we have had to restrict visitors to only end-of-life situations pursuant to guidance of public health officials. Residents are sheltering in place and leaving only for essential medical treatment due to their age and health conditions that lead them to reside in a skilled nursing facility. Staff are regularly communicating with family members regarding their loved ones. The facility is making sure that Employees have been re-educated on the importance of staying home when sick, washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, the proper use of PPE (personal protection equipment). Additionally, they are being health screened at the beginning and end of each shift. Our residents and employees are our highest priority and we are committed to their health and safety.
